In the 40th minute of the match, Amador Sustrai tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Filiberto Montay saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rodolfo Honrio got free with Filiberto Montay in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lino Turi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Filiberto Montay having to make a save. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Benjamin Seguinus to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Telareando were awarded a corner. Roman Ado went to the cornerflag to take it. Isidro Bautista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Vedillo in the 59th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Telareando's Cipriano Vedillo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Isidro Bautista. That made the score 3-2 after 60 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mateo Calvet got free with Isidro Bautista in the 64th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th match minute, Gancedo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Sustrai to maneuver through the defense. If Rodolfo Honrio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 66th minute, one of Telareando:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Telareando. The referee gave Gancedo FC a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Froilan Pio, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Telareando's Filiberto Montay. 4-2. 76 minutes into the match, Gancedo FC's goalkeeper Isidro Bautista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mateo Calvet. Gancedo FC's Isidro Bautista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cipriano Vedillo in the 82nd minute of play. If Cipriano Vedillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Gancedo FC defense, Cipriano Vedillo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isidro Bautista. The Gancedo FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidro Bautista should have stopped the shot. Gancedo FC's Isidro Bautista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save Gancedo FC from getting a goal against them. Amador Sustrai received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Filiberto Montay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
