Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Freddy Rio got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute Ulises Abreu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Gaur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 6 minutes of play, Trilí's Freddy Rio made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilberto Camaño was left in no man's land by his defense there! 11 minutes into the match, sampatricio fc's goalkeeper Gilberto Camaño had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damaso Mano. After a defensive mix-up in sampatricio fc's zone, Damaso Mano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilberto Camaño came out of the goal and Damaso Mano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Fabricio Felipillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 23 minutes, Clodoveo Eguen mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trilí and the sampatricio fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of sampatricio fc booed when Trilí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Eguen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Silverio Elivareo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. After 27 played minutes Trilí got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Elivareo. After a rather tough play, Trilí's Rolando Sindo got a free kick in the 31st minute. Ciro Osorio kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. Cléberson Madureira, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Rolando Sindo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Camaño having to interfere.

Damaso Mano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Trilí's Arnulfo Gaur proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save Trilí from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Trilí's Rolando Sindo got a free kick in the 57th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabricio Felipillo got free with Arnulfo Gaur in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Albano Seme charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Albano Seme the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Albano Seme hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. Arnulfo Gaur made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Lino Ospin sent off a good shot on target. 64 minutes into the game, Clodoveo Eguen cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Gilberto Camaño was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Damaso Mano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rolando Sindo struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Gilberto Camaño didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trilí. Damaso Mano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gilberto Camaño having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Damaso Mano in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilberto Camaño saved sampatricio fc from getting behind. In the 76th minute, one of sampatricio fc:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for sampatricio fc. Lázaro Maureo shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. In the 81st match minute, sampatricio fc was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rene Laurendi to maneuver through the defense. Gilberto Camaño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Freddy Rio in the 88th minute of the match. sampatricio fc's Gilberto Camaño played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Sindo in the 90th minute of play. Gilberto Camaño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clodoveo Eguen, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After 95 minutes of play, Trilí's Damaso Mano made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Gilberto Camaño was left in no man's land by his defense there! The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Trilí fans cheered their team off the field, for while sampatricio fc had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
