A collision led to Trilí getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Rolando Sindo hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Trilí's zone, Elvio Meder stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnulfo Gaur came out of the goal and Elvio Meder tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute, lyonheart's Victor Juvenal ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arnulfo Gaur. Arnulfo Gaur yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 17 minutes into the match, Trilí's goal looked a bit too open when Gerardo Diez came free, but Arnulfo Gaur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 38 played minutes Trilí got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Osorio. 45 minutes into the match, Trilí's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Juvenal came free, but Arnulfo Gaur reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gerardo Diez took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Arnulfo Gaur. Arnulfo Gaur dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Freddy Rio made the kick off in the second half. The lyonheart fans' excitement grew in the 52nd match minute when lyonheart's Victor Juvenal looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 55 played minutes Trilí got a freekick which was hit by Victoriano Isadore. In the 57th minute Placido Colon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnulfo Gaur saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th match minute, Trilí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Osorio to maneuver through the defense. In the 63rd minute of the match Elvio Monte sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arnulfo Gaur skillfully saved the ball. 66 minutes into the match, lyonheart's goal looked a bit too open when Freddy Rio came free, but Isaac Inko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Victor Juvenal put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Arnulfo Gaur. 73 minutes into the game, lyonheart's Gerardo Diez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnulfo Gaur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. When the match had gone on for 77 minutes, Victor Juvenal put it in 7-1 from a short distance just to the right of Arnulfo Gaur. Gerardo Diez hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. Damaso Mano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 81st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnulfo Gaur made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Colon in the 85th minute of play. In the 92nd minute, Victor Juvenal made a precise shot to the right of Arnulfo Gaur. Trilí's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-1. lyonheart walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
