The supporters of Humboldt booed when El Peluquero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 12 match minutes in a wonderful position. Honorio Baudelio didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Humboldt's Javier Maura got a free kick in the 14th minute. Guillermo Garaona hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. A collision led to Humboldt getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Victor Ilazki hit a great ball. Venancio Pelagius took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ambrosio Abilio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaen Buron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Humboldt booed when El Peluquero was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clodoveo Cristos didn't get a good kick on the ball. 34 minutes into the match, El Peluquero's goal looked a bit too open when Jaen Buron came free, but Jonathan Iratzeder reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 2-1 became the score in the 36th minute when Vladislav Uličný elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. 42 minutes into the game, Honorio Baudelio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. El Peluquero's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Humboldt the free kick. After 42 played minutes El Peluquero got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Baudelio. Victor Ilazki made a great header on Humboldt's corner, it was just that El Peluquero's Jonathan Iratzeder managed to reach the ball for a save. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Ambrosio Abilio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 53 minutes into the match, El Peluquero's Honorio Baudelio sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Venancio Pelagius narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jaen Buron blasted a shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Jonathan Iratzeder having to make a save. Venancio Pelagius showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ambrosio Abilio, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. If Vladislav Uličný had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Jaen Buron sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 73 minutes into the match, El Peluquero's goalkeeper Jonathan Iratzeder had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaen Buron. If Ambrosio Abilio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Humboldt's zone, Florencio Rivas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Venancio Pelagius came out of the goal and Florencio Rivas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jaen Buron kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. El Peluquero's Jonathan Iratzeder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladislav Uličný in the 98th minute of play. Humboldt's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because El Peluquero had won, even though Humboldt had held more of the ball.
