Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Virgilio Quiroga kicked off to start the match. In the 5th minute, Ovidio Venerando hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Claudio Galeno struck a weak shot in the 7th minute. Rosendo Stanislao didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Academia Stefi. Virgilio Quiroga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cesar Cheche having to interfere. Claudio Galeno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rosendo Stanislao having to interfere. 22 minutes into the match, Academia Stefi's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Quiroga came free, but Cesar Cheche reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cesar Cheche made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anier Ofelio in the 27th minute. In the 36th minute Virgilio Quiroga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Cheche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 40 minutes into the match, Alberto Viviano sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Cesar Cheche threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Alberto Viviano this time. Rosendo Stanislao took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Delmar Federigo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anier Ofelio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute Virgilio Quiroga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Cheche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Delmar Federigo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Camilo Pabla charged in rather forcefully in the 56th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Camilo Pabla the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Camilo Pabla hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. If Camilo Pabla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Virgilio Quiroga came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Calfucurá FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Virgilio Quiroga couldn't finish the play. Claudio Galeno did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-1 to the left of a surprised Rosendo Stanislao 68 minutes into the match. Anier Ofelio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tobias Benitez during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 81st minute there was a penalty for Calfucurá FC. Alberto Viviano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Cesar Cheche. 3-1. If Anier Ofelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesar Cheche made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Pabla in the 87th minute of play. Delmar Federigo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Virgilio Quiroga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Cesar Cheche tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Anier Ofelio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 99th minute Anier Ofelio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cesar Cheche saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calfucurá FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
