In the 18th minute Victor Urtsin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Vela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With his leg Bartolo Vela managed to avoid a goal in the 20thth minute, when Guardaparque's Victorino Donio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 21st minute, Victor Urtsin ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Bartolo Vela was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 28th minute, Victorino Donio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Daniel Selatse's late challenge caught a Guardaparque's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Daniel Selatse helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th match minute, Racing Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Daniel Selatse to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Bartolo Vela managed to avoid a goal in the 32ndth minute, when Guardaparque's Victorino Donio fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Victor Urtsin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bartolo Vela having to interfere. In the 38th match minute, Guardaparque was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Serafin Elia to maneuver through the defense. Apolo Ekhi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victor Urtsin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Bartolo Vela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Urtsin, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 64th minute, Daniel Selatse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor Urtsin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Nereo Lertxun kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. In the 83rd minute Serafin Elia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartolo Vela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Jairo Hondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
