After 3 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alpargata! The referee gave Radio MAX a penalty, 4 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Zheng Bing Chao, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Alpargata's Eulalio Sabin. 0-1. When Ricardo Orlondo fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alpargata's protests and gave Ricardo Orlondo a yellow card for diving instead. 7 minutes into the game, one of Alpargata:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Clodoveo Unax fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elpidio Mosen having to interfere. In the 14th minute Mikael Ahlén shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eulalio Sabin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 16th minute, Mikael Ahlén got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 32nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Alpargata's goalkeeper Eulalio Sabin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Alpargata's Jeremias Jakue got a free kick in the 34th minute. The supporters of Radio MAX booed when Alpargata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Jakue didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 37thth minute of the game Mikael Ahlén who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Alpargata's Eulalio Sabin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mikael Ahlén in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eulalio Sabin prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 43 minutes, Alejandro Weather managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Radio MAX's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alejandro Weather was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eulalio Sabin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mikael Ahlén's shot from short distance in the 44th minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Alpargata's Eulalio Sabin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikael Ahlén in the 70th minute of play. Mikael Ahlén struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. Eulalio Sabin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Radio MAX. Beat Geiger hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. When the match had gone on for 82 minutes, Beat Geiger put it in 0-4 from a short distance just to the right of Eulalio Sabin. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clodoveo Unax in the 86th minute of play forced Radio MAX's goalkeeper Elpidio Mosen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eulalio Sabin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beat Geiger in the 87th minute of play. Leonides Restu kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Gregorio Valerio missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 90 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Eulalio Sabin right hand side. Genaro Leocadio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 97th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Radio MAX's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
