The tension between the Intiguasi and the Yoca FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 4th minute, Maximino Salomon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ernesto Niva hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. With his leg Arnaldo Ubarna managed to avoid a goal in the 8thth minute, when Yoca FC's Evaristo Gaskon fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Ernesto Niva came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Intiguasi fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ernesto Niva couldn't finish the play. Intiguasi's defense didn't have a chance, in the 19th minute, when Evaristo Gaskon scored to the left of an out of position Arnaldo Ubarna, making the score, 2-0. Intiguasi's Arnaldo Ubarna proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Intiguasi from getting a goal against them. If Eduardo Ponciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 29th minute of the match Maximino Salomon completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Maximino Salomon a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 30th match minute, Intiguasi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Salomon to maneuver through the defense. Arnaldo Ubarna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dillon Deery in the 36th minute of play. If Ernesto Niva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Intiguasi were furious when Marcial Neron was red carded, 43 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In the 44th minute, Marcial Neron hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fidel Iaki missed a clear chance of a goal when in the 45 minute of the game fired away a shot, but unfortunally the ball went out to the Arnaldo Ubarna right hand side.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Evaristo Gaskon was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Yoca FC's zone, Ernesto Niva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fernando Madaleno came out of the goal and Ernesto Niva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evaristo Gaskon's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Arnaldo Ubarna read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. If Evaristo Gaskon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Eduardo Ponciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Fernando Madaleno tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ernesto Niva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 60th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Madaleno having to interfere. Arnaldo Ubarna took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dillon Deery, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arnaldo Ubarna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulises Brion in the 63rd minute of play. In the 72nd match minute, Yoca FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Gaskon to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 76 minutes, Eduardo Ponciano took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Fernando Madaleno to make any attempt to save it. Yoca FC's Fernando Madaleno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eduardo Ponciano in the 82nd minute of play. Ernesto Niva struck a weak shot in the 83rd minute. Fernando Madaleno didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Intiguasi. If Eduardo Ponciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Evaristo Gaskon in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnaldo Ubarna saved Intiguasi from getting behind. If Eduardo Ponciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
