Hilario Orlandus made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 33rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Justo Ascencio would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. In the 35th minute, Los Discípulos de Aued's Humberto Gonchan seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Humberto Gonchan the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Los Discípulos de Aued protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Humberto Gonchan had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 34 minutes into the game, one of Los Discípulos de Aued:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ernesto Tancredo was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Los Discípulos de Aued booed when Esperanza was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Froilan Lehoi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Victorino Arce took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 55th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Haroldo Confesor. Esperanza's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.
