Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Sumer's Raimundo Nalo started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpected shot in the 9th minute by Fidel Montrel got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Guillermo Lobo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicanor Matxin in the 10th minute of the match. Victoriano Stanislao was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Augusto Ramond showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 13 minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Sumer's zone, Augusto Ubendu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victoriano Stanislao came out of the goal and Augusto Ubendu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Augusto Ramond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Los Millonarios's Guillermo Lobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oscar Lalla in the 26th minute of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 26 minutes into the game, when Gonzalo Ur put in a rough tackle. After 27 played minutes Los Millonarios got a freekick which was hit by Gonzalo Ur. Ruperto Frasquito kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. In the 33rd minute of the match Augusto Ubendu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Victoriano Stanislao showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Guillermo Lobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Nalo in the 37th minute of play. In the 40th minute Nicanor Matxin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Lobo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Guillermo Lobo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raimundo Nalo went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fidel Montrel to make the kick off. Humberto Bordat kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. The supporters of Sumer booed when Los Millonarios was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pastor Peter didn't get a good kick on the ball. Humberto Bordat scored 1-2 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guillermo Lobo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. A sloppy throw-in by Guaberto Cordarin in the 59th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Los Millonarios's Pastor Peter. Pastor Peter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Victoriano Stanislao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fidel Montrel in the 61st minute of play. A collision led to Los Millonarios getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Paulo Osmundo hit a great ball. Humberto Bordat could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 68th minute of the match, but Guillermo Lobo made a huge save. 69 minutes into the game, Fidel Montrel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Victoriano Stanislao was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Pastor Peter hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute, Ruperto Frasquito fired a really elegant long shot, but Guillermo Lobo threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. In the 77th minute, Fidel Montrel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. A sloppy throw-in by Guaberto Cordarin in the 79th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Los Millonarios's Pastor Peter. 80 minutes into the match, Raimundo Nalo dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Guillermo Lobo, 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Nalo in the 84th minute of play forced Los Millonarios's goalkeeper Guillermo Lobo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guillermo Lobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Raimundo Nalo in the 87th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Nicanor Matxin kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Guillermo Lobo. That made the score 2-4 in the 88 minute of play. The throw-in from Marcial Elazar in the 91st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Los Millonarios's Paulo Osmundo. Guillermo Lobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oscar Lalla in the 93rd minute of play. In the 94th minute Raimundo Nalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Guillermo Lobo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Paulo Osmundo fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los Millonarios's protests and gave Paulo Osmundo a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Paulo Osmundo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The Los Millonarios supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Sumer's performance. The match ended with a win for Sumer.
