Rigoberto Tulio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romulo Mikeldi, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Rigoberto Tulio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lázaro Berdoi went, in the 18th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. If Romulo Mikeldi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute Lázaro Berdoi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rigoberto Tulio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Severiano Firman struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Primitivo Indartsu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pela F.C. Pela F.C's Rigoberto Tulio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romulo Mikeldi in the 31st minute of play. In the 33rd minute, Hernan Patxi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rigoberto Tulio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Rigoberto Tulio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Patxi in the 39th minute of the match. After 40 played minutes Pela F.C got a freekick which was hit by Edelmiro Gonzo. Thanks to some nice moves Severiano Firman could shoot a difficult shot in the 45th minute, which Primitivo Indartsu however easily saved by the left post. 46 minutes into the match, Toscal FC's goalkeeper Primitivo Indartsu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Danilo Senin.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romulo Mikeldi was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rdth minute of the game Romulo Mikeldi who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pela F.C's Rigoberto Tulio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Rigoberto Tulio made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Lázaro Berdoi sent off a good shot on target. After 60 minutes, Niceto Ariando mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Toscal FC and the Pela F.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 60th minute of the game. One of Toscal FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pela F.C:s goal. The referee gave Pela F.C a penalty, 62 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Silvio Lleir, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Toscal FC's Primitivo Indartsu. 1-2. Rigoberto Tulio was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Romulo Mikeldi capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Romulo Mikeldi really showed his touch with that goal: 1-3. Danilo Senin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Primitivo Indartsu having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 79th minute, Lázaro Berdoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Toscal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Lázaro Berdoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rigoberto Tulio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Silvio Lleir was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 82 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 81st minute of the game. One of Pela F.C:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Toscal FC:s goal. When the match had been going on for 84 minutes, Toscal FC's Niceto Ariando got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Rigoberto Tulio. Toscal FC's Romulo Mikeldi got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 92nd minute of the match Bernabe Ospin shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rigoberto Tulio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Pela F.C's Rigoberto Tulio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 93rd minute of the match, managed to save Pela F.C from getting a goal against them. After 94 played minutes Toscal FC got a freekick which was hit by Hernan Patxi. John Terry charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed John Terry the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Toscal FC booed when Pela F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. John Terry didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 98 played minutes, Toscal FC's Hernan Patxi shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Rigoberto Tulio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Toscal FC reached it. Rigoberto Tulio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Mikeldi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Toscal FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pela F.C throughout the match.
