Hector Bertol was slow to take the kick. During this time Teflon y Plastisol F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Hector Bertol made a great header on Teflon y Plastisol F.C.'s corner, it was just that La Maquina Levelera's Evaristo Frederico managed to reach the ball for a save. Isidro Ortzi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Israel Etxatxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Israel Etxatxu in the 48th minute of play forced Teflon y Plastisol F.C.'s goalkeeper Isidro Ortzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ariel Arce to strike the kick off in the second half. The referee ignored La Maquina Levelera's protests and gave Flavio Pedemonte a yellow card for diving instead. Teflon y Plastisol F.C. were furious when Octavio Quilino was red carded, 55 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Octavio Quilino kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 61 minutes into the match, Teflon y Plastisol F.C.'s goalkeeper Isidro Ortzi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Israel Etxatxu. In the 62nd minute of the match, Andres Giles got a very nice opportunity to score, but Isidro Ortzi was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 70 minutes into the match, Teflon y Plastisol F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Israel Etxatxu came free, but Isidro Ortzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidro Ortzi made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Andres Giles sent off a good shot on target. The La Maquina Levelera supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing La Maquina Levelera would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
