Luisito Palban was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Celestino Raitin came free with the goalkeeper in the 10th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Evaristo Frederico could save by the left post. In the 18th minute, Mateo Checa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 20 minutes into the match, Flavio Pedemonte had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Luisito Palban. Club Atletico Temperley's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Flavio Pedemonte was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Evaristo Frederico showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Igor Dayam in the 23rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in La Maquina Levelera's zone, Celestino Raitin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Evaristo Frederico came out of the goal and Celestino Raitin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Evaristo Frederico stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Igor Dayam's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. After some careless play in the Club Atletico Temperley defense, Andres Giles kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luisito Palban. The Club Atletico Temperley fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luisito Palban should have stopped the shot. Andres Giles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Luisito Palban tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Club Atletico Temperley's zone, Flavio Pedemonte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luisito Palban came out of the goal and Flavio Pedemonte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Igor Dayam kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Evaristo Frederico. That made the score 1-3 in the 40 minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Flavio Pedemonte to make the kick off. During the 56th minute of the match Mateo Checa completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Mateo Checa a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Mateo Checa kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. In the 58th minute, Andres Giles got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Flavio Pedemonte in the 59th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luisito Palban prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the game, Ceferino Pirmin was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atletico Temperley's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Maquina Levelera the free kick. The supporters of La Maquina Levelera booed when Club Atletico Temperley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ceferino Pirmin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute of the match, Andres Giles got a very nice opportunity to score, but Luisito Palban was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. 72 minutes into the game, Flavio Pedemonte cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Luisito Palban was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andres Giles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute Andres Giles suffered a knee injury and had to be helped off the field. Anselmo Peyo charged in rather forcefully in the 90th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anselmo Peyo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. La Maquina Levelera's Ciro Remir was substituted for Andres Giles. In the 89th minute, one of Club Atletico Temperley:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Atletico Temperley. When the match had been going on for 94 minutes, La Maquina Levelera's Remigio Vasco got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Luisito Palban. In the 98th minute there was a penalty for Club Atletico Temperley. Desiderio Xacintu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Evaristo Frederico. 2-6.
