Marcelo Pay blasted a shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Justino Tano having to make a save. Diego Bernardi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Tano having to interfere. A collision led to El Talar getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Arnoldo Gorri hit a great ball. 25 minutes into the match, Diferencias Abismales's goal looked a bit too open when Domingo Arlo came free, but Natalio Maties reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Diferencias Abismales's Cipriano Baptista got a free kick in the 26th minute. The supporters of Diferencias Abismales booed when El Talar was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Telmo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Diego Bernardi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Marcelo Pay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelo Pay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After the first half Diferencias Abismales were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

In the 51st match minute, Diferencias Abismales was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcelo Pay to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Diferencias Abismales's Feliciano Lauaxeta got a free kick in the 56th minute. Diferencias Abismales's Natalio Maties played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leo Amaya in the 94th minute of play. Diferencias Abismales were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing El Talar to leave the ground with a draw.
