Spectators: 7155 (Terracing: 5400, Seating: 1655, VIP seats: 100) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Kevin Backman kicked off to start the match. A.A.Leones del Oeste's Kris Kynov got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 6th minute, Harald Wennerqvist left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The A.A.Leones del Oeste fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Eliseo Berdaitz kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. The throw-in from Godfredo Ur in the 14th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by RIVER PLATE's Juan Jaunti. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harald Wennerqvist in the 17th minute of play forced RIVER PLATE's goalkeeper Eustaquio Evis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A.A.Leones del Oeste's Humberto Hermelando proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save A.A.Leones del Oeste from getting a goal against them. In the 19th minute Harald Wennerqvist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustaquio Evis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Humberto Hermelando was a little too slow when Eliseo Berdaitz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-1. Eustaquio Evis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kris Kynov in the 26th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victoriano Salvino in the 27th minute of play forced RIVER PLATE's goalkeeper Eustaquio Evis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute Kevin Backman shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Humberto Hermelando saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 32 minutes into the match, RIVER PLATE's goal looked a bit too open when Stanimir Grebenarov came free, but Eustaquio Evis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the match, RIVER PLATE's goal looked a bit too open when Kris Kynov came free, but Eustaquio Evis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eustaquio Evis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harald Wennerqvist in the 36th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in RIVER PLATE's zone, Kris Kynov stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eustaquio Evis came out of the goal and Kris Kynov tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stanimir Grebenarov hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the RIVER PLATE defense, Kris Kynov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Eustaquio Evis. The RIVER PLATE fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Eustaquio Evis should have stopped the shot. After the first half A.A.Leones del Oeste were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kris Kynov to make the kick off. Alfonso Trotta kicked well hit freekick during the 55th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, RIVER PLATE's goalkeeper Eustaquio Evis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harald Wennerqvist. After 60 played minutes A.A.Leones del Oeste got a freekick which was hit by Stanimir Grebenarov. In the 62nd minute, Gervasio Romelio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Stanimir Grebenarov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Eustaquio Evis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. RIVER PLATE's Eustaquio Evis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Mincho in the 66th minute of play. Eustaquio Evis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanimir Grebenarov, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Juan Jaunti kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Harald Wennerqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Kevin Backman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eustaquio Evis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Mincho in the 78th minute of play. RIVER PLATE's Eustaquio Evis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save RIVER PLATE from getting a goal against them. The throw-in from Godfredo Ur in the 82nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by RIVER PLATE's Juan Jaunti. A collision led to A.A.Leones del Oeste getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Harald Wennerqvist hit a great ball. Eustaquio Evis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victoriano Salvino, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eustaquio Evis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcos Mincho in the 88th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stanimir Grebenarov in the 91st minute of play forced RIVER PLATE's goalkeeper Eustaquio Evis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the game, Marcos Mincho recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Eustaquio Evis. Marcos Mincho showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-4. With a little luck, RIVER PLATE's Eustaquio Evis got control of the ball when Harald Wennerqvist tried to sneak it across the goal line. A.A.Leones del Oeste's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
