Jovita AFC's Narciso Aguilera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Backman in the 8th minute of play. With a little luck, RIVER PLATE's Eustaquio Evis got control of the ball when Diego Oihan tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 12th minute of the match, Bartolo Tipi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Eustaquio Evis saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. RIVER PLATE's Eustaquio Evis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save RIVER PLATE from getting a goal against them. Narciso Aguilera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Ikatz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Narciso Aguilera stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Roman Ikatz's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Tomás Federigo hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. In the 27th minute the ball was on its way in behind Jovita AFC's goalkeeper Narciso Aguilera, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 0-2 when Kevin Backman sped through Jovita AFC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Narciso Aguilera. 38 minutes into the match, Jovita AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Roman Ikatz came free, but Narciso Aguilera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Narciso Aguilera showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roman Ikatz in the 41st minute of the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Kevin Backman made a kick off. Roman Ikatz did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Narciso Aguilera 51 minutes into the match. Narciso Aguilera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Roman Ikatz in the 56th minute. When the match had gone on for 58 minutes, Kevin Backman took a quick shot and it went in 0-4 without a chance for Narciso Aguilera to make any attempt to save it. Narciso Aguilera breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rosendo Clis got a throw-in 90 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Fausto Joey. RIVER PLATE's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
