The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Julian Benvido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ceferino Ospin in the 4th minute of play. Julian Benvido showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Serafin Chap, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. The audience was convinced that Prospero Odol's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Julian Benvido was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. After 13 played minutes Defensa y Justicia got a freekick which was hit by Claudio Socorro. Julian Benvido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Prospero Odol in the 17th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ceferino Ospin in the 19th minute of play forced Defensa y Justicia's goalkeeper Julian Benvido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luciano Egoi kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. Nicasio Goizeder kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. The supporters of Defensa y Justicia booed when ROMA FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nemesio Kepa didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicasio Goizeder in the 38th minute of play forced ROMA FC's goalkeeper Luciano Bras to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Julian Benvido showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Serafin Chap in the 57th minute of the match. Defensa y Justicia's Julian Benvido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Prospero Odol in the 58th minute of play. In the 71st minute Prospero Odol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julian Benvido saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Defensa y Justicia getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Damaso Viator hit a great ball. Ceferino Ospin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Defensa y Justicia's Julian Benvido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save Defensa y Justicia from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Serafin Chap kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julian Benvido. That made the score 0-1 in the 77 minute of play. Defensa y Justicia's Julian Benvido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Defensa y Justicia from getting a goal against them. Godfredo Ekhi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Julian Benvido came out and tried to block the shot, but Godfredo Ekhi slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 82nd minute. Julian Benvido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafin Chap in the 87th minute of play. Julian Benvido took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Prospero Odol, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Serafin Chap in the 93rd minute of play forced Defensa y Justicia's goalkeeper Julian Benvido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. ROMA FC played a much better game than Defensa y Justicia and deserved their victory. The Defensa y Justicia players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
