Alejandro Tohias charged in rather forcefully in the 16th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a defensive mix-up in Tafí Futbol Club's zone, Edgardo Bastian stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Reynaldo Romildo's late challenge caught a Penang FA's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After 29 played minutes Tafí Futbol Club got a freekick which was hit by Reynaldo Romildo. Tafí Futbol Club's Isaias Luix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zacarias Oso in the 32nd minute of play. Isaias Luix came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Penang FA's Marciano Gutxi. But to his dismay, Marciano Gutxi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Isaias Luix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Tohias in the 39th minute of the match. In the 68th match minute, Tafí Futbol Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynaldo Romildo to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Zacarias Oso got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Tafí Futbol Club's Eleuterio Ferran in the 72nd minute got a chance for a shot 72nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
