Cornelio Ponciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Rolando Truylos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Remigio Gartzen might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rolando Truylos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Remigio Gartzen ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 9th minute Constantino Arano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnaldo Txomin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Pilar's zone, Cornelio Ponciano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Truylos came out of the goal and Cornelio Ponciano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Remigio Gartzen kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rolando Truylos. That made the score 1-0 in the 12 minute of play. In the 15th minute, Fernando Felipillo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Cornelio Ponciano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Namaste FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Cornelio Ponciano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rolando Truylos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rolando Truylos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remigio Gartzen, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. If Cornelio Ponciano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Pilar's Rolando Truylos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remigio Gartzen in the 26th minute of play. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Namaste FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Pilar:s goal. Rolando Truylos made a fantastic save in the 33rd minute, when Cornelio Ponciano sent off a good shot on target. Cornelio Ponciano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rolando Truylos having to make a save. Namaste FC's Cornelio Ponciano got a good chance for a goal in the 48th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ciro Fonda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Pilar's Fernando Felipillo got a free kick in the 53rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pilar's zone, Cornelio Ponciano stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rolando Truylos came out of the goal and Cornelio Ponciano tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pilar's Rolando Truylos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edgard Kiliz in the 59th minute of play. After 66 minutes, Ciro Fonda mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pilar and the Namaste FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Placido Gai kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Placido Gai during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Placido Gai hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. Rolando Truylos came out of the goal in the 71st minute to try and stop a shot by Namaste FC's Cornelio Ponciano. But to his dismay, Cornelio Ponciano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. After 81 played minutes Pilar got a freekick which was hit by Placido Gai. The supporters of Pilar booed when Namaste FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Matias Crescencio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 85th minute, Pilar's Placido Gai ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Arnaldo Txomin. Arnaldo Txomin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Namaste FC's Arnaldo Txomin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Constantino Arano in the 88th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Edgard Kiliz in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Rolando Truylos saved Pilar from getting behind. Cornelio Ponciano took the ball and in the 98 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rolando Truylos. Rolando Truylos dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-2. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Namaste FC had played much better football throughout.
