Celestino Lluques's late challenge caught a CA Los Arboles's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Celestino Lluques helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of CA Los Arboles booed when Diablos Rojos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Celestino Lluques didn't get a good kick on the ball. Severiano Xabier kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Herminio Chaime in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Clodoveo Bela prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a defensive mix-up in Diablos Rojos's zone, Jimeno Transito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Clodoveo Bela came out of the goal and Jimeno Transito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 27th minute, Jimeno Transito managed to get in a good position for a shot. CA Los Arboles's supporters rose to their feet, but Jimeno Transito was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Clodoveo Bela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Diablos Rojos's goalkeeper Clodoveo Bela, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jimeno Transito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clodoveo Bela having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Herminio Chaime in the 43rd minute of play forced Diablos Rojos's goalkeeper Clodoveo Bela to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Patricio Maju had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Patricio Maju stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Diablos Rojos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Patricio Maju was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Prudencio Oihan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Patricio Maju got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
