Agustin Eztebe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Teodosio Tavio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Iguazu FC defense, Teodosio Tavio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Agustin Eztebe. The Iguazu FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Agustin Eztebe should have stopped the shot. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Mascasín FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Iguazu FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
