In the 15thth minute of the game Remigio Fernendo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Deportivo Moron's Ricardo Joseph was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dario Hurko showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Egun in the 18th minute of the match. Deportivo Moron's Valentin Lehoi quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Adolfo Nevada, made in the 19th minute of the game. A collision led to Deportivo Moron getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Javier Gimenez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st match minute, Deportivo Moron was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valentin Lehoi to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Victorino Otsoko in the 92nd minute really tested Ricardo Joseph's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Arturo Gaufred sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Deportivo Moron's zone, Arturo Gaufred stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ricardo Joseph came out of the goal and Arturo Gaufred tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Esperanza AFC players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
