He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Marcos Videl. Marcos Videl made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cosme Ramos in the 49th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raimundo Luken stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hipolito Aztore made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. Despite being the better team, Malanzán AFC failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
