The Salta FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Abraham Sliepers was a little too slow when Cosme Ramos got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 19th minute. The score was now 1-1. When Cosme Ramos fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Malanzán AFC's protests and gave Cosme Ramos a yellow card for diving instead. Cosme Ramos kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Hipolito Aztore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Basualdo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melchor Ederono in the 30th minute of play forced Malanzán AFC's goalkeeper Hipolito Aztore to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Salta FC booed when Malanzán AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cosme Ramos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malanzán AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Norberto Basualdo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-5. Salta FC played a much better game than Malanzán AFC and deserved their victory. The Malanzán AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
