Spectators: 7232 (Terracing: 5426, Seating: 1663, VIP seats: 143) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Edgard Suarez got the match started through his kick off. 2 minutes into the game, La Guardia Imperial's Edgard Suarez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ladislao Medero made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 5 minutes into the match, La Guardia Imperial's goal looked a bit too open when Justino Elazar came free, but Aaron Olayo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 9th minute La Guardia Imperial were awarded a corner. Epifanio Modestio went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Epifanio Modestio almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Almafuerte FC's Ladislao Medero did a great save. Aaron Olayo came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Almafuerte FC's Amadeo Fresco. But to his dismay, Amadeo Fresco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Lázaro Azeari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, La Guardia Imperial's Aaron Olayo got control of the ball when Amadeo Fresco tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ladislao Medero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lázaro Azeari, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. La Guardia Imperial's Aaron Olayo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Justino Elazar in the 25th minute of play. Edgard Suarez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 27th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Amadeo Fresco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Aaron Olayo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgard Suarez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edgard Suarez in the 41st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ladislao Medero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ladislao Medero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Azeari in the 43rd minute of the match. Amadeo Fresco hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Aaron Olayo didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 45th minute, which inside left pole to 3-1. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Justino Elazar was the one to do the kick off. La Guardia Imperial's Edgard Suarez came free and shot a quick shot against goal 52 minutes in the game, fortunately Ladislao Medero had problems saving as it came toward the left post. If Honorio Azubeli had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aaron Olayo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Fresco in the 60th minute of play. Aaron Olayo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Honorio Azubeli in the 62nd minute of the match. Aaron Olayo came out of the goal in the 63rd minute to try and stop a shot by Almafuerte FC's Amadeo Fresco. But to his dismay, Amadeo Fresco quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. In the 68th minute Honorio Azubeli shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aaron Olayo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 71 played minutes Almafuerte FC got a freekick which was hit by Honorio Azubeli. In the 75th minute, Honorio Azubeli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgard Suarez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ladislao Medero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Ladislao Medero had in the 80thth minute some difficulties stopping Epifanio Modestio's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. In the 82nd minute, Amadeo Fresco made a precise shot to the right of Aaron Olayo. La Guardia Imperial's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. 92 minutes into the game, Amadeo Fresco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Almafuerte FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave La Guardia Imperial the free kick. After 92 played minutes Almafuerte FC got a freekick which was hit by Amadeo Fresco. After 95 minutes of play, Almafuerte FC's Justino Elazar made it 8-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aaron Olayo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Almafuerte FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
