In the 11th minute Angel Fonso shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but David Nataniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rogelio Basualdo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After a rather tough play, Tornquist's Filiberto Bernaldo got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 18th minute, Rogelio Basualdo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The gus plate stars fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Jacinto Eleazar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Nataniel having to interfere. David Nataniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jacinto Eleazar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Paulino Martxel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. David Nataniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gavino Orlanda fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored gus plate stars's protests and gave Gavino Orlanda a yellow card for diving instead. Gavino Orlanda hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. gus plate stars's Rogelio Lano shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 36th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Filomeno Jakue but with some difficulty. 38 minutes into the match, gus plate stars's goal looked a bit too open when Paulino Martxel came free, but David Nataniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jacinto Eleazar charged in rather forcefully in the 40th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jacinto Eleazar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jacinto Eleazar kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. Tornquist's Filomeno Jakue played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kjell-Arne Nyman in the 45th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Paulino Martxel to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 57th minute, Lorenzo Frichoso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacinto Eleazar was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 62nd minute. Tornquist's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Lorenzo Frichoso hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Kjell-Arne Nyman in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Filomeno Jakue saved Tornquist from getting behind. Rogelio Basualdo scored 3-0 in the 67th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Filomeno Jakue, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 70 minutes into the match, Rogelio Basualdo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Filomeno Jakue. Tornquist's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Rogelio Basualdo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 74th minute Rogelio Basualdo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Filomeno Jakue saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogelio Basualdo in the 75th minute of play forced Tornquist's goalkeeper Filomeno Jakue to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogelio Basualdo might have been able to make a better finish in the 81st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Filomeno Jakue. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rogelio Basualdo ran back to his position shaking his head. Filomeno Jakue came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by gus plate stars's Rogelio Basualdo. But to his dismay, Rogelio Basualdo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Kjell-Arne Nyman managed to get in a good position for a shot. gus plate stars's supporters rose to their feet, but Kjell-Arne Nyman was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Filomeno Jakue breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. gus plate stars had won after a very even match.
