Pedro Lauro kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. Ubaldo Calisto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Sergio Delfino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 11thth minute of the game Ubaldo Calisto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but trogloditasFC's Sergio Delfino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Constantino Gamus fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored trogloditasFC's protests and gave Constantino Gamus a yellow card for diving instead. In the 11th minute, Constantino Gamus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cristo Oliverio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 16th minute, Cristo Oliverio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dario Asur in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sergio Delfino saved trogloditasFC from getting behind. Sergio Delfino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ubaldo Calisto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sergio Delfino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Calisto, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ubaldo Calisto in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sergio Delfino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Inocencio Iraido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cristo Oliverio came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Palermo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cristo Oliverio couldn't finish the play. Ubaldo Calisto struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Sergio Delfino didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palermo. Cristo Oliverio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sergio Delfino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ubaldo Calisto, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Sergio Delfino came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Palermo's Inocencio Iraido. But to his dismay, Inocencio Iraido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After the first half Palermo were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Rosendo Baristo made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dario Asur got free with Sergio Delfino in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Inocencio Iraido sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cristo Oliverio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Sergio Delfino stood somewhat misplaced when Ubaldo Calisto came free in front of goal and shot 0-3 to the left of him in the 59 minute. When Alejandro Irrintzi fell near the penalty area in the 65th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored trogloditasFC's protests and gave Alejandro Irrintzi a yellow card for diving instead. Palermo's Jacinto Enol was substituted for Enzo Gonzales. After 66 played minutes trogloditasFC got a freekick which was hit by Alejandro Irrintzi. The Palermo fans' excitement grew in the 71st match minute when Palermo's Cristo Oliverio looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Inocencio Iraido had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Sergio Delfino was out of position in the 77 minute of play, and Dario Asur capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Dario Asur really showed his touch with that goal: 0-5. 83 minutes into the game, Ubaldo Calisto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Sergio Delfino. Ubaldo Calisto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. With a little luck, trogloditasFC's Sergio Delfino got control of the ball when Ubaldo Calisto tried to sneak it across the goal line. Sergio Delfino was out of position in the 94 minute of play, and Inocencio Iraido capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Inocencio Iraido really showed his touch with that goal: 0-7. Palermo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
