Dario Asur received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Inocencio Guillelme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gregorio Henric had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 15th minute, Mariano Abilio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Camerún LR's zone, Cristo Oliverio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inocencio Guillelme came out of the goal and Cristo Oliverio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 30 minutes of play, Palermo's Mariano Abilio made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Inocencio Guillelme was left in no man's land by his defense there! Mariano Abilio took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Inocencio Guillelme. Inocencio Guillelme dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 37th minute, Cristo Oliverio got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Palermo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Santiago Olayo in the 40th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Camerún LR's goalie and right to Isaias Lore. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Camerún LR's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Camerún LR's Inocencio Guillelme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dario Asur in the 42nd minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Inocencio Iraido notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Camerún LR's Inocencio Guillelme. Inocencio Guillelme was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Gregorio Henric fell near the penalty area in the 48th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palermo's protests and gave Gregorio Henric a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Palermo's Gregorio Henric got a free kick in the 48th minute. Benicio Casado didn't quite understand what happened when in the 50 minute of the game managed to get a great opportunity for a goal and then missed the goal by a feet. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mariano Abilio to make the kick off. Camerún LR's Inocencio Guillelme proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Camerún LR from getting a goal against them. In the 57th minute Inocencio Iraido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Guillelme saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Mariano Abilio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Inocencio Guillelme. Camerún LR's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mariano Abilio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Anacleto Endira's late challenge caught a Palermo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Anacleto Endira helped the player get up and apologised. Inocencio Iraido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Inocencio Guillelme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camerún LR's Inocencio Guillelme played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Leopoldo Oro in the 66th minute of play. The supporters of Palermo booed when Camerún LR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiburcio Bide didn't get a good kick on the ball. Santiago Olayo struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Inocencio Guillelme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palermo. Inocencio Guillelme showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Asur, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 82 minutes into the match Mariano Abilio climbed in front of goal and pressed up 0-5 in the right cross behind a totally surprised Inocencio Guillelme. If Cristo Oliverio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 88 minutes into the match, Camerún LR's goal looked a bit too open when Inocencio Iraido came free, but Inocencio Guillelme reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute, Camerún LR's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Mariano Abilio fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 91st minute, Palermo's Mariano Abilio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Inocencio Guillelme. Inocencio Guillelme yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. If Cristo Oliverio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Palermo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
