Baldomero Patrido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Serafino Rubio in the 15th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Pilciao AFC's zone, Ulises Montae stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arnoldo Eyague came out of the goal and Ulises Montae tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baldomero Patrido made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Rogelio Ipar sent off a good shot on target. When Cirrus Minor FC's Ulises Montae in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Arnoldo Eyague stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Virgilio Fidensio's shot from short distance in the 27th minute. 30 minutes into the match, Ulises Montae had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnoldo Eyague. Pilciao AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ulises Montae was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Ulises Montae recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arnoldo Eyague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virgilio Fidensio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Pilciao AFC defense, Virgilio Fidensio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Arnoldo Eyague. The Pilciao AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Arnoldo Eyague should have stopped the shot. Baldomero Patrido made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rogelio Ipar in the 46th minute of play.

The supporters of Cirrus Minor FC booed when Pilciao AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gogo Marquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Oscar Lleir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cirrus Minor FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Oscar Lleir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnoldo Eyague breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 59 minutes into the game, Pilciao AFC's Victor Cordaro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Baldomero Patrido made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. With 65 minutes on the clock, Hermengildo Jakobe commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 65 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cirrus Minor FC! The referee gave Pilciao AFC a penalty, 68 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gogo Marquez, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cirrus Minor FC's Baldomero Patrido. 3-2.
