Serafin Rubio kicked well hit freekick during the 5th minute of the match. If Maximo Gaxan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maximo Gaxan in the 13th minute of play forced Pilciao AFC's goalkeeper Arnoldo Eyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cordona were furious when Gaudencio Milio was red carded, 16 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 15 minutes into the game, one of Cordona:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 18 minutes, Pilciao AFC's Gogo Marquez got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Elpidio Evarado. 22 minutes into the match, Santos Lizbeth notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Pilciao AFC's Arnoldo Eyague. Arnoldo Eyague was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Elpidio Evarado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Cordaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Elpidio Evarado was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Victor Cordaro showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 31 minute of play. When Victor Cordaro came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Pilciao AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victor Cordaro couldn't finish the play. When Maximo Gaxan fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cordona's protests and gave Maximo Gaxan a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pilciao AFC booed when Cordona was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maximo Gaxan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Filomeno Brais kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. If Rogelio Ipar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elpidio Evarado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Serafino Rubio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Apolo Mino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Arnoldo Eyague tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Santos Lizbeth might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arnoldo Eyague. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Santos Lizbeth ran back to his position shaking his head. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victor Cordaro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 50th match minute, Cordona was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fidel Txema to maneuver through the defense. After 55 played minutes Pilciao AFC got a freekick which was hit by Serafino Rubio. 58 minutes into the game, Pilciao AFC's Serafino Rubio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Elpidio Evarado made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. A collision led to Pilciao AFC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Rogelio Ipar hit a great ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Santos Lizbeth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cordona's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santos Lizbeth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 65th minute, one of Pilciao AFC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Pilciao AFC. Pilciao AFC's Arnoldo Eyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Santos Lizbeth in the 69th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, Santos Lizbeth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cordona's supporters rose to their feet, but Santos Lizbeth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arnoldo Eyague breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Arnoldo Eyague made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Santos Lizbeth in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute Rogelio Ipar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Evarado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Serafino Rubio scored 4-3 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Elpidio Evarado, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Apolo Mino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Arnoldo Eyague tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Santos Lizbeth in the 97th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnoldo Eyague saved Pilciao AFC from getting behind. In the 98th minute Rogelio Ipar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elpidio Evarado saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Cordona were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
