The El segundo Velez de N fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Feliciano Atarratze should have stopped the shot. Filomeno Cortez might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Feliciano Atarratze. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Filomeno Cortez ran back to his position shaking his head. Modesto Carlomagno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Feliciano Atarratze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Filomeno Cortez made a precise shot to the right of Feliciano Atarratze. El segundo Velez de N's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. After a rather tough play, El segundo Velez de N's Iker Peio got a free kick in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Gaston Kismi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Casla FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave El segundo Velez de N the free kick. In the 17th minute, Gaston Kismi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Modesto Carlomagno received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Feliciano Atarratze tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hernan Inge had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 26th minute, Placido Gaitan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Nicanor Sindo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Modesto Carlomagno in the 29th minute of play forced El segundo Velez de N's goalkeeper Feliciano Atarratze to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Filomeno Cortez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Casla FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Modesto Carlomagno in the 38th minute. Casla FC's Modesto Carlomagno was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Feliciano Atarratze in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Modesto Carlomagno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Modesto Carlomagno took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Feliciano Atarratze. Feliciano Atarratze dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. In the 48th minute, Iker Peio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Filomeno Cortez to strike the kick off in the second half. El segundo Velez de N's Feliciano Atarratze proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 54th minute of the match, managed to save El segundo Velez de N from getting a goal against them. Filomeno Cortez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Feliciano Atarratze made a huge save. The audience was convinced that Modesto Carlomagno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Feliciano Atarratze was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Through an outstanding action, after 62 minutes, Feliciano Atarratze successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Silvio Oxel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Feliciano Atarratze having to interfere. Feliciano Atarratze made an important save on a dangerous shot by Filomeno Cortez in the 85th minute. Modesto Carlomagno was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 88th minute. Casla FC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Filomeno Cortez's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 90thth minute, Feliciano Atarratze skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. If Filomeno Cortez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute the ball was on its way in behind El segundo Velez de N's goalkeeper Feliciano Atarratze, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 96th minute Iker Peio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicanor Sindo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Casla FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than El segundo Velez de N throughout the match.
