Tucuman's Tiburcio Ciano got control of the ball when Horacio Nalo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 26 minutes, Tiburcio Ciano successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jaime Seguinus during the 32nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience held their breath when Fabricio Nuñez in the 34th minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Rigoberto Cidro's left hand side. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cipriano Oinaz was the one to do the kick off. Atl. Tucuman's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Angel Vergaray in the 56th minute. It was a well-played corner which Fabricio Nuñez managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Rigoberto Cidro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jesus Obano in the 58th minute of the match. In the 60th minute, Roman Gutierrez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rigoberto Cidro was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Tucuman's Jesus Obano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rigoberto Cidro. Rigoberto Cidro yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. Cipriano Oinaz hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Horacio Nalo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tiburcio Ciano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Teobaldo Sayvion in the 71st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teobaldo Sayvion in the 77th minute of play forced Atl. Tucuman's goalkeeper Tiburcio Ciano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Atl. Tucuman's Tiburcio Ciano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Horacio Nalo in the 82nd minute of play. Cipriano Oinaz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Rigoberto Cidro made a huge save.
