In the 4th minute, Benedicto Fidele hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 10 minutes, Nestor Bitxintxo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ardilla and the Luracatao FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nestor Bitxintxo hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. When Ryszard Bierfass came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Luracatao FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ryszard Bierfass couldn't finish the play. After 16 minutes of play Ardilla's Nestor Bitxintxo was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 17th minute, Nestor Bitxintxo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 26th minute, Vítor Almeida hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd rose to their feet as Tobias Oro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Edelmiro Cesaro. That made the score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. If Tobias Oro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd match minute, Luracatao FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tadeo Patrido to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 36 minutes, Tobias Oro put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Edelmiro Cesaro. Tadeo Patrido fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edelmiro Cesaro having to interfere. Luracatao FC's Tobias Oro got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Luracatao FC's Alejo Louis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Delmiro Jerico in the 46th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benedicto Fidele during the 47th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Luracatao FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Benedicto Fidele hit a great ball. In the 49th minute the ball was on its way in behind Luracatao FC's goalkeeper Alejo Louis, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Roberto Soter's late challenge caught a Luracatao FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roberto Soter helped the player get up and apologised. Roberto Soter hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. Luracatao FC's Tadeo Patrido got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 69 played minutes Luracatao FC got a freekick which was hit by Luisito Guerrero. After 71 played minutes Ardilla got a freekick which was hit by Delmiro Jerico. Luracatao FC's Tobias Oro got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Delmiro Jerico had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 81st minute Tadeo Patrido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Cesaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tadeo Patrido received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Edelmiro Cesaro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edelmiro Cesaro stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Tadeo Patrido's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. 91 minutes into the match, Ardilla's goal looked a bit too open when Ryszard Bierfass came free, but Edelmiro Cesaro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tobias Oro in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edelmiro Cesaro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 95th minute Tadeo Patrido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Cesaro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edelmiro Cesaro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tobias Oro in the 98th minute of play. When the referee ended the match the Luracatao FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
