In the 3rd minute Carmelo Sanson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roque Izotz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alberto Francis's late challenge caught a los sureños's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alberto Francis helped the player get up and apologised. Moises Celio didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Carmelo Gentza went, in the 7th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Ildefonso Serafo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moises Celio was relentless in the 12th minute of the game. Moises Celio was out of position in the 14 minute of play, and Generoso Clodio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Generoso Clodio really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. The audience was convinced that Ildefonso Serafo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moises Celio was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Ildefonso Serafo charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ildefonso Serafo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to los sureños getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Arroyadores FC's Lorenzo Dalmau got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. los sureños's Roque Izotz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Carmelo Sanson in the 32nd minute of play. Arroyadores FC were awarded a corner in the 34th minute after los sureños's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gualterio Conrao took the corner. Gerardo Lop thought of kicking away a contribution in front of goal but messed it up so badly that the ball went to the right of an astonished Roque Izotz, a very annoying self made goal in the 35th minute which led to 2-1. 38 minutes into the match, Generoso Clodio dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Moises Celio, 3-1. In the 43rd match minute, Arroyadores FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carmelo Sanson to maneuver through the defense. Generoso Clodio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arroyadores FC's Moises Celio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 48th minute of the match, managed to save Arroyadores FC from getting a goal against them. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Antonio Aritza stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Generoso Clodio made a precise shot to the right of Moises Celio. Arroyadores FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Damaso Harri kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 61 minutes, Ildefonso Serafo put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Moises Celio. Ildefonso Serafo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Moises Celio having to interfere. In the 67thth minute of the game Ildefonso Serafo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arroyadores FC's Moises Celio was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Ildefonso Serafo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Moises Celio was relentless in the 68th minute of the game. Carmelo Gentza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Moises Celio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Arroyadores FC getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Zeledon Geleberto hit a great ball. 80 minutes into the game, los sureños's Carmelo Gentza nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Moises Celio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-1. Roque Izotz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Carmelo Sanson in the 83rd minute. After 94 played minutes, los sureños's Gerardo Lop shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Moises Celio came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in los sureños reached it. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ildefonso Serafo in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Moises Celio prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the referee ended the match the los sureños players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
