In the 4th minute, Oscar Bernaldo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Bombay Sapphire Dry's zone, Ambrosio Marquez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lejf Starholm came out of the goal and Ambrosio Marquez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ambrosio Aznaro in the 8th minute of play forced Cojango's goalkeeper Atilano Martino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ambrosio Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Amadeo Urtun got free with Atilano Martino in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lejf Starholm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ambrosio Marquez in the 20th minute of play. Atilano Martino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amadeo Urtun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 24 minutes into the match, Amadeo Urtun dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Atilano Martino, 2-0. In the 27th minute, Bombay Sapphire Dry's Amadeo Urtun dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. In the 31st minute Oscar Bernaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lejf Starholm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amadeo Urtun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Atilano Martino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Delmar Beliran charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Delmar Beliran the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 34 played minutes Cojango got a freekick which was hit by Delmar Beliran. After having played for 36 minutes, Amadeo Urtun managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bombay Sapphire Dry's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amadeo Urtun was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute, Amadeo Urtun fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amadeo Urtun to strike the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Amadeo Urtun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Atilano Martino was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Amadeo Urtun's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Atilano Martino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Bombay Sapphire Dry's goalkeeper Lejf Starholm had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ambrosio Marquez. In the 60th minute of the match, Ambrosio Marquez got a very nice opportunity to score, but Lejf Starholm was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 74th minute, Iker Onofre ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Atilano Martino was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. After 80 minutes of play, Bombay Sapphire Dry's Ambrosio Aznaro made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Atilano Martino was left in no man's land by his defense there! Atilano Martino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amadeo Urtun in the 87th minute of play. In the 91st minute Ambrosio Aznaro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Atilano Martino saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 96 minutes into the game, Bombay Sapphire Dry's Amadeo Urtun nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Atilano Martino made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0.
