The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 4 minutes into the match, Coraya AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Melquiades Dominix came free, but Marciano Urdaspal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 5 minutes into the game, Vértigo FC's Melquiades Dominix nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marciano Urdaspal made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. If Justino Nel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 10 minutes into the game, Darman Fitrianto was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Coraya AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Vértigo FC the free kick. After 11 played minutes Coraya AFC got a freekick which was hit by Darman Fitrianto. Marciano Urdaspal came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Vértigo FC's Melquiades Dominix. But to his dismay, Melquiades Dominix quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Remigio Natal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Keegan in the 20th minute of play. Marciano Urdaspal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Melquiades Dominix in the 26th minute of play. 28 minutes into the game, Vértigo FC's Melquiades Dominix nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. In the 35th minute, Melquiades Dominix made a precise shot to the right of Marciano Urdaspal. Coraya AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-4. Remigio Natal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inocencio Umea in the 38th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Inocencio Umea got free with Remigio Natal in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marciano Urdaspal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melquiades Dominix in the 43rd minute of the match. Remigio Natal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Inocencio Umea in the 45th minute. Remigio Natal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Keegan, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Melquiades Dominix stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 64th match minute, Vértigo FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agu Adamson to maneuver through the defense. Agu Adamson hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. The Coraya AFC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Melquiades Dominix in the 86th minute of play forced Coraya AFC's goalkeeper Marciano Urdaspal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 94th minute Melquiades Dominix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marciano Urdaspal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Coraya AFC's Pedro Natanael got a free kick in the 94th minute. Vértigo FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
