Spectators: 7094 (Terracing: 5322, Seating: 1631, VIP seats: 141) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Candido Berasko took the kick off in the first half of the match. 3 minutes into the match, Coraya AFC's goalkeeper Marciano Urdaspal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niceto Goren. Reyes de Reyes's Siro Aritza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Keegan in the 7th minute of play. Siro Aritza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kevin Keegan in the 9th minute of play. Kevin Keegan took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Siro Aritza. Siro Aritza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. After having played for 18 minutes, Kevin Keegan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coraya AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kevin Keegan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Siro Aritza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darman Fitrianto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 26th minute, Darman Fitrianto made a precise shot to the right of Siro Aritza. Reyes de Reyes's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. With an all-out effort, Reyes de Reyes's Marciano Urdaspal threw himself towards the right post 29 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Candido Berasko, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Coraya AFC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Candido Berasko 32 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. Damaso Ibon hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Reyes de Reyes's zone, Kevin Keegan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Siro Aritza came out of the goal and Kevin Keegan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Justo Corderun managed to get in a good position for a shot. Coraya AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Justo Corderun was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siro Aritza breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 40th minute, Kevin Keegan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kevin Keegan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Marciano Urdaspal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Goren, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Reyes de Reyes's Celedonio Segio got a free kick in the 53rd minute. Siro Aritza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kevin Keegan, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Siro Aritza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Darman Fitrianto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Reyes de Reyes's Candido Berasko got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 66th match minute, Reyes de Reyes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Celedonio Segio to maneuver through the defense. Kevin Keegan's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Siro Aritza skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Danilo Johans hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Niceto Goren in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marciano Urdaspal saved Coraya AFC from getting behind. In the 74th minute, Justo Corderun hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kevin Keegan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Siro Aritza came out and tried to block the shot, but Kevin Keegan slotted it home off the left post making it 1-3 in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, Coraya AFC's Damaso Ibon got a free kick in the 80th minute. Milyo Atov took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 84th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Siro Aritza. Reyes de Reyes's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 86th minute of the match Gustavo Tallia sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Siro Aritza skillfully saved the ball. After 89 minutes, Kevin Keegan made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Reyes de Reyes's Siro Aritza tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. If Justo Corderun had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute of the match Milyo Atov sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Siro Aritza skillfully saved the ball. When the match was over Coraya AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Reyes de Reyes throughout the match.
