Spectators: 7125 (Terracing: 5345, Seating: 1639, VIP seats: 141) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Eliseu Coutinho took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Colazo's Manuel Baldovino got a free kick in the 6th minute. Flavio Firmo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Romulo Arnalt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Flavio Firmo in the 12th minute of play. After 13 played minutes Amberes got a freekick which was hit by Tomás Jokin. After 15 minutes, Emilio Moise mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Amberes and the Colazo players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Colazo booed when Amberes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emilio Moise didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Amberes defense, Flavio Firmo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Romulo Arnalt. The Amberes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Romulo Arnalt should have stopped the shot. Eliseu Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 19 minutes, Manuel Baldovino put it in 0-3 from a short distance just to the right of Romulo Arnalt. In the 26th minute, Fabio Matei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes into the match, Eliseu Coutinho notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Colazo's Lisandro Guib. Lisandro Guib was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Romulo Arnalt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manuel Baldovino, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. A collision led to Colazo getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Danilo Berdoi hit a great ball. Agustin Gines fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lisandro Guib having to interfere. If Danilo Berdoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romulo Arnalt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Danilo Berdoi in the 45th minute of the match. After 46 played minutes Colazo got a freekick which was hit by Manuel Baldovino.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Danilo Berdoi in the 53rd minute of play forced Amberes's goalkeeper Romulo Arnalt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eliseu Coutinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Manuel Baldovino got free with Romulo Arnalt in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Flavio Firmo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Romulo Arnalt made a huge save. In the 60th minute Manuel Baldovino shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romulo Arnalt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lisandro Guib showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eliseu Coutinho in the 66th minute of the match. The supporters of Colazo booed when Amberes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavian Blidaru didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romulo Arnalt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Danilo Berdoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th match minute, Amberes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Octavian Blidaru to maneuver through the defense. In the 77th minute Eliseu Coutinho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lisandro Guib saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Colazo's zone, Eliseu Coutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lisandro Guib came out of the goal and Eliseu Coutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amberes's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Manuel Baldovino scored to the left of an out of position Romulo Arnalt, making the score, 1-4. Amberes's Eliseu Coutinho got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Colazo getting a freekick after 84 minutes play. Paolo Basualdo hit a great ball. In the 86thth minute of the game Eliseu Coutinho who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Colazo's Lisandro Guib was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Amberes's goalkeeper Romulo Arnalt had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Manuel Baldovino. Lisandro Guib showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliseu Coutinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. The Colazo supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Colazo would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
