With a couple of smart ball manuevers Yavuz Selim Balaman in the 2nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Domingo Frichoso saved Manzanares AFC from getting behind. Hector Licerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 8 minutes, Yavuz Selim Balaman put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Domingo Frichoso. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sixto Elija during the 14th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of RACING A. CLUB OLAVARRÍA booed when Manzanares AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sixto Elija didn't get a good kick on the ball. Dario Ashby hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. After 18 minutes, Froilan Estavan mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manzanares AFC and the RACING A. CLUB OLAVARRÍA players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 19 played minutes Manzanares AFC got a freekick which was hit by Froilan Estavan. Domingo Frichoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Licerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match had gone on for 22 minutes, Yavuz Selim Balaman put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Domingo Frichoso. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Hector Licerio managed to get in a good position for a shot. RACING A. CLUB OLAVARRÍA's supporters rose to their feet, but Hector Licerio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingo Frichoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Manzanares AFC's zone, Yavuz Selim Balaman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingo Frichoso came out of the goal and Yavuz Selim Balaman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute, Hector Licerio left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The RACING A. CLUB OLAVARRÍA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. In the 35thth minute of the game Yavuz Selim Balaman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Manzanares AFC's Domingo Frichoso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Domingo Frichoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Licerio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Manzanares AFC's Froilan Estavan got a free kick in the 37th minute. If Hector Licerio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. Domingo Frichoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Yavuz Selim Balaman in the 41st minute of the match. Hector Licerio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Manzanares AFC's Domingo Frichoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yavuz Selim Balaman in the 44th minute of play. If Dario Ashby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Yavuz Selim Balaman made a kick off. Domingo Frichoso was a little too slow when Yavuz Selim Balaman got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 51st minute. The score was now 0-4. An unexpected shot in the 55th minute by Hector Licerio got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Yavuz Selim Balaman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Hector Licerio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Domingo Frichoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The corner led RACING A. CLUB OLAVARRÍA's Luisito Ler to fire away a dangerous shot which Domingo Frichoso despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 65th match minute, Manzanares AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sixto Elija to maneuver through the defense. Yavuz Selim Balaman in the 72ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Domingo Frichoso, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Domingo Frichoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yavuz Selim Balaman in the 76th minute of play. A nice corner shot did that Sebastian Verón got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Domingo Frichoso quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Manzanares AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 79th minute, when Yavuz Selim Balaman scored to the left of an out of position Domingo Frichoso, making the score, 0-5. Edelmiro Cuartio hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. The Manzanares AFC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. RACING A. CLUB OLAVARRÍA were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
