Club Atlético Platense's Stalian Atanasiu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 11th minute of the match, managed to save Club Atlético Platense from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Esteve Oro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Club Atlético Platense's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteve Oro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Domingo Frichoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Club Atlético Platense's Ramiro Azibar got a free kick in the 18th minute. Stalian Atanasiu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sixto Elija in the 21st minute of play. 21 minutes into the game, Thomás Vale was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Club Atlético Platense's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manzanares AFC the free kick. Thomás Vale hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. Filiberto Fernado's late challenge caught a Club Atlético Platense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Filiberto Fernado helped the player get up and apologised. In the 27th match minute, Manzanares AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Filiberto Fernado to maneuver through the defense. Domingo Frichoso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Esteve Oro in the 29th minute of the match. Esteve Oro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Stalian Atanasiu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sixto Elija, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Manzanares AFC's zone, Esteve Oro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Domingo Frichoso came out of the goal and Esteve Oro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filiberto Fernado hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. When Norberto Rivas came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Club Atlético Platense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Norberto Rivas couldn't finish the play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Esteve Oro to strike the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Manzanares AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Esteve Oro came free, but Domingo Frichoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 69th minute, Damian Jayvier fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 70th minute, Damian Jayvier got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Domingo Frichoso was out of position in the 72 minute of play, and Thomás Vale capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Thomás Vale really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. Domingo Frichoso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Jayvier in the 84th minute of play. When Edelmiro Cuartio came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Manzanares AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edelmiro Cuartio couldn't finish the play. If Esteve Oro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Esteve Oro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Domingo Frichoso having to interfere. When the final whistle sounded Club Atlético Platense left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Manzanares AFC.
