The crowd rose to their feet as Lobos FC's Rein Vrolijcx slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Natalio Montrel. That made the score 1-0 after 22 minutes of play. Angelo Geofredo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Natalio Montrel made a huge save. Natalio Montrel was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Bernardo Bermudez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When Bernardo Bermudez came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Lobos FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bernardo Bermudez couldn't finish the play. Inocencio Batistas short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Federico Eguen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The supporters of Gowlan booed when Lobos FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Trenton Brennan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lobos FC's Bernardo Bermudez got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Inocencio Batista charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Inocencio Batista the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. When the referee ended the match the Lobos FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
