Spectators: 7034 (Terracing: 5307, Seating: 1627, VIP seats: 100) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Nicasio Jesco started the match with the kick off. When Romulo Quentin came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Arbolito FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Romulo Quentin couldn't finish the play. When Cornelio Mogel fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arbolito FC's protests and gave Cornelio Mogel a yellow card for diving instead. After 11 played minutes Arbolito FC got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Mogel. Vinicio Sandaili took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Patricio Arlo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Nicasio Jesco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Romulo Quentin scored 0-1 in the 17th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donato Xabier, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cornelio Mogel might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Donato Xabier. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Cornelio Mogel ran back to his position shaking his head. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Paulino Gaztea during the 22nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Arbolito FC booed when Goldey was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulino Gaztea didn't get a good kick on the ball. 26 minutes into the match, Nicasio Jesco notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Arbolito FC's Vinicio Sandaili. Vinicio Sandaili was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Donato Xabier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romulo Quentin in the 31st minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Quentin in the 33rd minute of play forced Goldey's goalkeeper Donato Xabier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Xabier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cornelio Mogel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Cornelio Mogel's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Donato Xabier was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Niceto Panpili managed to get in a good position for a shot. Goldey's supporters rose to their feet, but Niceto Panpili was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Vinicio Sandaili breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donato Xabier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romulo Quentin in the 44th minute of play.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Romulo Quentin to strike the kick off in the second half. Romulo Quentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Xabier having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romulo Quentin in the 54th minute of play forced Goldey's goalkeeper Donato Xabier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Donato Xabier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romulo Quentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Santos Dolfos fell near the penalty area in the 58th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arbolito FC's protests and gave Santos Dolfos a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Arbolito FC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Santos Dolfos hit a great ball. The audience was convinced that Nicasio Jesco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Vinicio Sandaili was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Serafino Francho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cornelio Mogel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Romulo Quentin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Donato Xabier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 67th minute of play. Romulo Quentin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Donato Xabier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Goldey's goal looked a bit too open when Romulo Quentin came free, but Donato Xabier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Niceto Panpili in the 88th minute of play forced Arbolito FC's goalkeeper Vinicio Sandaili to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 89th minute of the match Camilo Mirande shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Vinicio Sandaili showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Cristian Urbasa struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Vinicio Sandaili didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Goldey. The Arbolito FC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Arbolito FC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
