Spectators: 7041 (Terracing: 5416, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Lorenzo Lico got the match started through his kick off. Genaro Reno scored 0-1 in the 3rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Maximiliano Oton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Genaro Reno came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Ichipuca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Genaro Reno couldn't finish the play. In the 10th minute, Genaro Reno ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maximiliano Oton was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. Genaro Reno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Genaro Reno had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximiliano Oton. Taladro fútbol club's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Genaro Reno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Lorenzo Lico put it in 1-3 from a short distance just to the right of Joaquin Sabin. A collision led to Ichipuca getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Rigoberto Bibiano hit a great ball. Maximiliano Oton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Genaro Reno in the 34th minute of play. In the 40thth minute of the game Lorenzo Lico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ichipuca's Joaquin Sabin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The audience was convinced that Genaro Reno's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Maximiliano Oton was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After the first half Ichipuca were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Genaro Reno to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute Fidel Hats shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maximiliano Oton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54thth minute of the game Lorenzo Lico who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ichipuca's Joaquin Sabin was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Joaquin Sabin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lorenzo Lico's shot from short distance in the 60th minute. Genaro Reno who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 63rdth minute tested the skills of Maximiliano Oton when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 68 minutes into the match, Genaro Reno notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Taladro fútbol club's Maximiliano Oton. Maximiliano Oton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 74th minute, Genaro Reno made a precise shot to the right of Maximiliano Oton. Taladro fútbol club's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-6. After having played for 78 minutes, Lucrețiu Terzian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Taladro fútbol club's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lucrețiu Terzian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Joaquin Sabin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lorenzo Lico, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 84th minute, Lucrețiu Terzian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Taladro fútbol club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-6. With his leg Maximiliano Oton managed to avoid a goal in the 90thth minute, when Ichipuca's Genaro Reno fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Ichipuca were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Taladro fútbol club's much stronger midfield.
