After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Timoteo Cordareo managed to get in a good position for a shot. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ovidio Ipar to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, indepentiente's Florencio Cloyo got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 55th minute Timoteo Cordareo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Perfecto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee ignored DelBosque's protests and gave Timoteo Cordareo a yellow card for diving instead. The corner led to DelBosque's Gualterio Txerran getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 72 minutes into the match, DelBosque's goal looked a bit too open when Ovidio Ipar came free, but Dionisio Chepe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Timoteo Cordareo made a precise shot to the right of Christian Perfecto. indepentiente's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Eloy Romano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. DelBosque's Astor Urbes got a good chance for a goal in the 98th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the referee ended the match the DelBosque players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
