Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luisito Sabin kicked off to start the match. The C.A. Correo Argentino fans' excitement grew in the 4th match minute when C.A. Correo Argentino's Luisito Sabin looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Roversi booed when C.A. Correo Argentino was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luisito Sabin didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Matias Felipillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Abelardo Leheren was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Florencio Manilan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Sabin in the 16th minute of play. Ivan Naike who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 20thth minute tested the skills of Abelardo Leheren when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Correo Argentino's zone, Matias Felipillo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abelardo Leheren came out of the goal and Matias Felipillo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of C.A. Correo Argentino booed when Roversi was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Braulio Abeita didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Melquiades Ostargi during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Melquiades Ostargi hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ivan Naike in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Abelardo Leheren saved C.A. Correo Argentino from getting behind. If Matias Felipillo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luisito Sabin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to C.A. Correo Argentino getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Costel Itoafă hit a great ball. After some careless play in the Roversi defense, Luisito Sabin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Florencio Manilan. The Roversi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Florencio Manilan should have stopped the shot. When C.A. Correo Argentino's Luisito Sabin in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Roversi's goalie prevented a goal. Ivan Naike recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 48th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half C.A. Correo Argentino were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ivan Naike to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute the ball was on its way in behind C.A. Correo Argentino's goalkeeper Abelardo Leheren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Costel Itoafă could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 58th minute of the match, but Florencio Manilan made a huge save. Ivan Naike struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Abelardo Leheren didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Roversi. After 71 played minutes C.A. Correo Argentino got a freekick which was hit by Melquiades Ostargi. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ivan Naike in the 75th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Abelardo Leheren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Luisito Sabin came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the C.A. Correo Argentino fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luisito Sabin couldn't finish the play. Mario Urbez hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Ivan Naike made a precise shot to the right of Abelardo Leheren. C.A. Correo Argentino's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. After 88 played minutes C.A. Correo Argentino got a freekick which was hit by Nemesio Nuno. After a defensive mix-up in C.A. Correo Argentino's zone, Ivan Naike stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Abelardo Leheren came out of the goal and Ivan Naike tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 91st minute, Matias Felipillo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 97th match minute, C.A. Correo Argentino was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximo Lucian to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Roversi lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
