After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Abelardo Leheren made a fantastic save in the 90th minute, when Emiliano Gaxan sent off a good shot on target. Beltrán AFC's Arsenio Guillem got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Abelardo Leheren took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arsenio Guillem, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 95 minutes of play, C.A. Correo Argentino's Cristian Confesor made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nemesio Abar was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nemesio Nuno kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. When the match was over Beltrán AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than C.A. Correo Argentino throughout the match.
