In the 14th minute, Froilan Galtero reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Dante Toli. The goal made the score 1-0. After some careless play in the Ajax Amsterdam defense, Froilan Galtero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dante Toli. The Ajax Amsterdam fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dante Toli should have stopped the shot. Denis Pedroso didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gustavo Santiago went, in the 87th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-2 was the resulting score. In the 91st minute, Froilan Galtero ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dante Toli was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. Froilan Galtero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dante Toli having to interfere. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Ezeiza had played much better football throughout.
