When Ulises Cordarryl came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the AS Surreal Rose fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ulises Cordarryl couldn't finish the play. Leonel Haritz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 26 minutes into the game, Elias Berbiz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venancio's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AS Surreal Rose the free kick. Elias Berbiz kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. The supporters of AS Surreal Rose booed when Venancio was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Joaquin Hibai didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Elias Berbiz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 32 minutes had been played when some careless play by Venancio's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Baldomiro Ubarna was slow to take the kick. During this time AS Surreal Rose's players had a chance to rest. The corner ended in Anacleto Matthew almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Venancio's Celedonio Fernendo did a great save. With his leg Celedonio Fernendo managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when AS Surreal Rose's Ulises Cordarryl fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. An unexpected shot in the 34th minute by Leonel Haritz got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ulises Cordarryl in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Celedonio Fernendo saved Venancio from getting behind. 36 minutes into the match, AS Surreal Rose's Leonel Haritz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Celedonio Fernendo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Ulises Cordarryl's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Celedonio Fernendo was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. If Eusebio Manni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celedonio Fernendo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 6-0. After 57 minutes of play, AS Surreal Rose's Eusebio Manni made it 7-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Celedonio Fernendo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ulises Cordarryl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. AS Surreal Rose's Leonel Haritz got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 65thth minute of the game Ulises Cordarryl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Venancio's Celedonio Fernendo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 67th minute of the match AS Surreal Rose got a corner. Venancio's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Baldomiro Ubarna ran over to the corner to take the kick. Baldomiro Ubarna made a great header on AS Surreal Rose's corner, it was just that Venancio's Celedonio Fernendo managed to reach the ball for a save. After some careless play in the Venancio defense, Ulises Cordarryl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celedonio Fernendo. The Venancio fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celedonio Fernendo should have stopped the shot. 73 minutes into the game, AS Surreal Rose's Ulises Cordarryl nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After a defensive mix-up in Venancio's zone, Eusebio Manni stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Celedonio Fernendo came out of the goal and Eusebio Manni tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute Ulises Cordarryl shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celedonio Fernendo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, Venancio's goal looked a bit too open when Leonel Haritz came free, but Celedonio Fernendo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in AS Surreal Rose's zone, Elias Berbiz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfonso Fero came out of the goal and Elias Berbiz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonel Haritz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celedonio Fernendo having to interfere. There was no doubt that AS Surreal Rose were the better team. AS Surreal Rose's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
