Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) CAB's Zeledon Ubarna started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Vinicio Austin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carragal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Vinicio Austin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Criston breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nicolas Elizardo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolas Elizardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th minute, Alejandro Balendin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donato Criston made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Raimundo Gil sent off a good shot on target. The supporters of Carragal FC booed when CAB was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alberto Geofredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicolas Elizardo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Criston having to interfere. When CAB's Alberto Geofredo in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Carragal FC's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 42 minutes, Raimundo Gil managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Carragal FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Raimundo Gil was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nicolas Elizardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Donato Criston tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carragal FC's Nicolas Elizardo got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nicolas Elizardo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in CAB's zone, Nicolas Elizardo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Donato Criston came out of the goal and Nicolas Elizardo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute, Nicolas Elizardo made a precise shot to the right of Donato Criston. CAB's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Nicolas Elizardo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 66 minutes, Nicolas Elizardo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. After a rather tough play, CAB's Alejandro Balendin got a free kick in the 68th minute. In the 79th minute, Nicolas Elizardo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carragal FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Nicolas Elizardo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Vinicio Austin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Donato Criston having to interfere. In the 92nd match minute, Carragal FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramon Gorka to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zeledon Ubarna in the 93rd minute of play forced Carragal FC's goalkeeper Johannes Lind to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Carragal FC were the better team. Carragal FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
