Clodoveo Montrel charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Clodoveo Montrel the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Clodoveo Montrel kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. In the 6th match minute, Centinelas De Sion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo Modestio to maneuver through the defense. Chacarita Juniors's Francisco Adrio got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 8 played minutes Chacarita Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Guaberto Artaldo. In the 9th minute, Edelmiro Karmel ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eliseo Uxio was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. When Clodoveo Montrel came up free with the goalie in the 14th minute, the Chacarita Juniors fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Clodoveo Montrel couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Chacarita Juniors booed when Centinelas De Sion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Amado Jerrald didn't get a good kick on the ball. Francisco Adrio recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Andre Brenner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Adrio, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Centinelas De Sion's Andre Brenner played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco Adrio in the 23rd minute of play. In the 27th minute, Centinelas De Sion's Miguel Pinheiro seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Miguel Pinheiro the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Centinelas De Sion protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Miguel Pinheiro had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. After 28 played minutes Centinelas De Sion got a freekick which was hit by Miguel Pinheiro. After having played for 29 minutes, Eze Sabeeh managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chacarita Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eze Sabeeh was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eliseo Uxio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edelmiro Karmel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eze Sabeeh during the 42nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Clodoveo Montrel could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Andre Brenner made a huge save.

The wind increased when Edelmiro Karmel made the kick off in the second half. If Amado Jerrald had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Adrio in the 57th minute of play forced Centinelas De Sion's goalkeeper Andre Brenner to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Guaberto Artaldo took the ball and in the 60 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Andre Brenner. Andre Brenner dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. Andre Brenner showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco Adrio in the 64th minute of the match. The supporters of Chacarita Juniors booed when Centinelas De Sion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benigno Bero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Centinelas De Sion's zone, Francisco Adrio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andre Brenner came out of the goal and Francisco Adrio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Benigno Bero fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Centinelas De Sion's protests and gave Benigno Bero a yellow card for diving instead. Benigno Bero hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Andre Brenner made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clodoveo Montrel in the 72nd minute of play. In the 76th match minute, Centinelas De Sion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rosendo Modestio to maneuver through the defense. Centinelas De Sion made a substitution. Honorato Su replaced Edelmiro Karmel. The supporters of Chacarita Juniors booed when Centinelas De Sion was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosendo Modestio didn't get a good kick on the ball. 81 minutes into the match, Clodoveo Montrel notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Centinelas De Sion's Andre Brenner. Andre Brenner was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Honorato Su fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eliseo Uxio having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Centinelas De Sion's zone, Guaberto Artaldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andre Brenner came out of the goal and Guaberto Artaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Andre Brenner showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Francisco Adrio, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Chacarita Juniors had played much better football throughout.
